Planting Update

Published by at 9:00 am under Garden

Some updates on how things are growing. Overall, great! Everything is really perking up. Except the berries. We’ll have to see how they do. Above is the sage which is growing quite nicely. Need to make something with those nice leaves.

More pictures after the break.

Dill and Thyme

The thyme and dill have totally filled out. I’ve already been using the thyme for cooking and the dill tastes delicious as well. Perhaps some egg salad with dill is needed.

And the basil is doing great as well. All three kinds — sweet, cinnamon and thai. Time to start using that as well. I was giving the plants some time before I started to strip them down to use them, but they’ve had enough time now πŸ™‚

There’s some oregano visible in the background which is doing well though not as good as some of the others. But I planted that with the cilantro and parsley just a little while ago. Just forgot to take a picture.

And I didn’t take a picture of the eggplant or lime tree. The lime tree is doing fine but doesn’t look much different. The eggplant is doing very well, but not very interesting. At least until I get an eggplant from it πŸ™‚

Define survive. Are they still alive due to sun and water? Yes, though they don’t seem to have grown any. Not like the herbs. No berries yet :-/ And unfortunately a certain furry someone likes to dig near the super tiny boysenberry bush. I fear for its fragile life.
