Not sure whether these are cupcakes or muffins, but they are good. They have this cream cheese-y filling. These didn’t turn out quite as well as my test batch. All the cream cheese filling floated to the top. I think this is because the filling was much more watery than last time. Moral of the story: use Philadelphia cream cheese when cream cheese is called for (not generic store brand).
However, these still sold out faster than anything else at the bake sale. Go me. 🙂
Here’s getting the batter ready . . . if you’re curious. I had really pretty cupcake papers that I had gotten for the bake sale: stripes and dots. These are the pink stripes.
