I had a chance to visit the Home Cake Decorating Supply Co. while I was in Seattle (they don’t have a website I could find, but here is their Yelp entry). They are located at 9514 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115. If you are in Seattle and you like baking at all, I highly recommend a visit.
After visiting, this store quickly rose into my top three favorite stores ever. It is so unbelievably cool. And the owner is so nice! They had everything cakey (and cupcakey!) imaginable. I picked up several cupcake-sized pastry tips (including one that does hearts) and cupcake-sized pastry bags (they make big ones so you’re not refilling every 5 cupcakes), a bunch of super cute cupcake papers (including some beautiful mini ones), some awesome looking edible glitter, and some green shamrock sprinkles. Obviously I’ll be making some St. Patty’s Day cupcakes. I’ll post pictures 🙂
when are you going to learn how to cook something that any reasonable person would really like to eat like MARZIPAN!
Do you cook marzipan? I thought it was just mashed up almonds and sugar. Hmm. I’ll have to look into that.
