After staring at letterpress while looking for wedding invitations, I thought, “hey, I can do this” so I decided to take a class. During the class we made a chapbook (which is really pretty useless, but is a good sample for making letterpress. It was a cool class–all chicks including the teacher. It ended up being lots of fun as everyone was pretty cool. Here’s the book we made. The cover was at the top. My partner and I made the title and half-title pages, or at least that’s what we were in charge of setting. Everyone printed 4 copies of each page, but then the pages got mixed up before they were distributed (which is why the cover looks poopy on some and some–all my pages were pretty much perfect . . . for the record.) Here are pictures of the rest of it.
