Okay not related to my usual crafts or cooking, but I took this picture of this super cool flower. And a bee flew into the picture as I was doing so and I think it turned it out pretty neat. Mostly it’s just a cool flower.

You know, that’s actually a yellow jacket. I know because I hate them — yesterday Cliff and I went to Mexican food and there were a bunch of yellow jackets that decided they loved my tacos, and I had to flee in terror. Who knew wasps liked tacos? Why isn’t this on Wikipedia?
That’s true. It’s definitely a wasp. But wasps don’t collect pollen, they don’t make honey, they eat other insects and meat and things, so what’s it doing hanging out inside a flower? Maybe the wasp thinks it’s a bee. Maybe both the flower and the wasp are crazy.
