While I was home over Thanksgiving, my dad and I made cranberry almond nougat. We used the Martha Stewart recipe from the most recent Holiday issue. That one calls for lemon which we left out and we also replaced half the almonds with cranberries. We made it my last day and it takes at least a day to dry out. We’ll probably leave it until I get home again in less than 3 weeks so I’ll get to try it then. And for the record, my dad makes an excellent sous chef.
