Chocolate Chip Cookies on a Chocolate Chip Cookie Plate

For the aforementioned Memorial Day BBQ, I also made some chocolate chip cookies. I use the Cooks Illustrated recipe. These weren’t as chewy as usual, but still pretty darn good.

I also painted the plate. Yes, it’s a plate specifically for chocolate chip cookies–I like them that much 🙂

It remains a little known fact that among the foods available to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden were chocolate chip cookies. Fortunately for us all, Eve not only stole apples but also the recipe for the cookies.
