My husband and I both have identical computers (yes, they’re CR-48s, the cool ChromeOS machine from Google). So in order to tell them apart, I made some slick vinyl decals for them.
Hubby wanted the Incognito man and I decided just to go with a simple flower. I created the Incognito man graphic myself and the flower is one from the stock images that come with the Silhouette. The vinyl is Silhouette brand vinyl in silver.
A word of note for anyone planning to try this: I had a difficult time getting the vinyl to stick to the sueded surface and detach from the transfer paper. Though now that it’s on it seems to be just fine. I imagine it would work better on a shinier, smoother surface. Or perhaps I’ll try some different vinyl when we tire of these designs. That’s what’s great about this — it’s so easy to peel off the vinyl and put something new on to change the look!
