Another old one. This is the 4 out of 5 Weekender Tunic and I wear it all the time. Whenever it’s clean. I made it using some acrylic sweater knit from CaliFabrics that was on sale (check it out — it’s still on sale!) It felt kinda stiff when I got it, but after a single wash it was quite soft.
This pattern is super fast. It’s only 3 pieces. It sews up super fast (assuming you aren’t taking oodles of time to match stripes . . . ). So I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something in this style. It’s also super comfy. One thing I do differently is I cut the neck wider so it’s a boatneck. I just prefer that style. (It’s actually my second one. Note to self: post the first one at some point . . .).
In general, I find stripes terribly annoying because it super annoys me if they don’t match. But please take a look at the side seam. Pretty proud of that matching. The underarms are similar. This makes me very happy.
I super love your tunic and those extra long sleeves. So cute. Big high-5 for matching those stripes!
Thanks! They’re a pain but it’s so satisfying when they match 😀
