I did this quilt as part of the 4th Mystery Quilt Along with Hello Stitch Studio. I love their mystery quilts because the woman Nancy who runs them makes you feel like family and that you’re getting together with a bunch of friends each week despite the fact that you’re all over zoom. Plus, she always has the most creative ideas that are a surprised until the last one or two clues. I’ve actually got another one to post at some point, but it’ll be a gift so I’m keeping it under wraps until it’s gifted.
This was a gift for my cousin’s son so I asked Lucky Penny Quilting to do a more fun pattern than usual. This one has tractors and a barn and cows and other farm animals which I thought was super cute for a little boy. I hope it gives him lots of snuggles!
I’ll be missing the next couple of mystery quilts because they conflict with the tailoring class I’m taking. But that means you’ve got some jacket posts coming up towards the end of the year once I finish my projects. I’ve been wanting to take this class for a while so I’m excited that the timing finally worked! I’ve got at least 4 different coats that have been on my pattern wish list but was nervous about messing up my beautiful fabric. Technically we only need to finish one coat, but I’m definitely going to be doing at least 2. I’ve already got the fabric 😀
I’ve also been working on several other garments recently, some of which I finally got photos of so those will get posted soon as well while you wait for coat photos.
