The wine was served in these cute stoneware carafes. The small one is 25 cl; the large one is 50 cl. The white wine was a delicious riesling and the red one was a bordeaux.

It’s been a while since I lasted posted. Over a month I think. Things got busy. But now I’m back to some stuff. To kick things off, here’s an amazing sushi roll I had at Ten Ichi in San Francisco. It tasted as fabulous as it looks.
For the aforementioned Memorial Day BBQ, I also made some chocolate chip cookies. I use the Cooks Illustrated recipe. These weren’t as chewy as usual, but still pretty darn good. I also painted the plate. Yes, it’s a plate specifically for chocolate chip cookies–I like them that much 🙂
